We are working on a woodland themed wedding mood board at the moment ready for the eclectic wedding extravaganza (EWE) in November. We will be with the awesome photographer Sassy from Assassynation Photography. It should be an amazing show. We visited EWE in March and met so many brilliant people. At the time we were planning our own wedding. We had visited a conventional wedding fair the week before. We couldn’t get out of there quickly enough. It was so corporate event style. We actually felt out of place. When we visited EWE it couldn’t have been more different. It didn’t feel hard sell or pushy, rather it felt like being with a lot of fun like minded folk. We stayed for ages. By the time we left we had met lots of great and talented people, designed my hair clips for the wedding with vikki from lillia, sorted out our photography and wedding theme and befriended a few exhibitors on Facebook.
It was so great that we are really looking forward to returning this year, even though one of our favourite cake designers can’t be there with her amazing skull chocolate cakes (anna from Conjurers Kitchen). However there are plenty of great things there, photographers galore, cakes aplenty, styling and inspiration at every turn. This year we will be looking forward to meeting Jo from the Couture Company and seeing her gorgeous dress designs. Hopefully you won’t miss us, we will get to wear our wedding outfits again too which is a bonus. Perhaps we can inspire you to have your wedding your way and show how we might be able to assist in styling and craftng things for your big day? Like making feathers from vintage paper as above. See you at Fazeley studios, Birmingham on the 3rd November. Look out for the dinosaurs.
Love Anna and Timmy x
